Rugby Club Since 2000

One ridge, one badge, twenty-five years

From twelve friends with one ball to a full-pathway club with senior league titles and 400 juniors training weekly.

Our Story

Built on borrowed posts and stubborn belief

In 2000 a group of schoolmates marked out a pitch on Ridgefield Common with borrowed posts and played anyone who would lend them a game. Six years later the club bought its own ground. Ten years after that, the first XV lifted the Regional Championship in front of 3,000 travelling supporters.

Today Summit Ridge fields three senior sides, a women's XV, colts and six junior age groups — but Saturday still ends the same way: all teams back in the clubhouse, fines court in session, new players welcomed like family.
